Brief History


     The Chinese Society of Aerial Photogrammetry was re-established in 1978, with 199 individual members.   In 1980, the organization  became an ordinary member of ISPRS and  changed its name to the Chinese Society of Photogrammetry and Remote Sensing.
 
 
 
 
 

Objectives & Missions


     The main objective of this organization is to promote cooperation among scientists and professionals working towards the advancement of aerial photogrammetry and remote sensing.  The organization's basic missions are:
  1. Initiating the academic, educational, and training activities and research in aerial photogrammetry and remote sensing.
  2. Publicating journals dealing with aerial photogrammetry and remote sensing.
  3. Providing assistance to the public towards the design and execution of aerial photogrammetric and remotely sensed surveying activities.
